The SCSE race location is remote, with limited vehicle access and big distances to cover once you’re making your way around the course. We expect most industry media will ride their mountain bikes in and out of the location, securing them at the race start and hiking the course from there (course trails are of course closed to non-racers for much of the day). For more information on course access, please contact us.
Please note that cell access is spotty at the venue, and non-existent at Camp Loma (base camp).
Media Credentials/Press Pass: Check in at the Registration Booth at Camp Loma anytime over the weekend for a press pass. Each press pass must be picked up by the person assigned to that credential, with photo ID and a business card presented to substantiate legitimacy. You cannot pick up media credentials for your co-workers or friends. A valid media ID (business card is fine) and signed waiver is required to commercially photograph the Santa Cruz Super Enduro. Credentials are limited and only available to qualified media. The Santa Cruz Super Enduro does not issue credentials to any person unable to provide affiliation with a credible media outlet and reserves the right to deny any credential request.
Photography Rights: All rights to still photographs taken at the Santa Cruz Super Enduro are the property of Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz. Photographers are permitted to provide pictures for editorial or commercial use to publications, teams or companies without any specific permission. Members of the public may take pictures for personal, non-commercial use.
Video Rights: Video media rights are the property of Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz. Videographers are permitted to provide video media for editorial or commercial use, teams or companies without any specific permission.
Report Coverage: Details on what type of coverage you provided should be emailed to SCSE Marketing.
